AMG expands its global presence with its investment in Artemis Investment Management, a leading United Kingdom fund manager specializing in active investment management for retail and institutional investors in the UK, as well as Europe and the Middle East.

AMG completes its investment in Aston Asset Management, an established investment firm offering sub-advised investment products to the mutual fund and managed accounts markets.

2009
AMG enters the Greater China region through its strategic partnership with Hong Kong-based Value Partners Group Limited.

AMG further expands its global equity presence with its investment in Harding Loevner LLC, a premier global equity manager.

2008
AMG expands its global institutional distribution platform into Europe, further strengthening the Company’s global presence.

AMG further expands its alternative product offering with its investments in BlueMountain, a global credit alternatives manager, and ValueAct Capital, a leading alternative investment firm.

2005
AMG completes investments in leading boutique Canadian asset management firms Foyston, Gordon & Payne Inc. and Beutel, Goodman & Company Ltd.

2004
AMG expands its alternative product offering with its investment in AQR Capital Management.

AMG completes its investment in TimesSquare Capital Management, a highly regarded equity manager offering growth-oriented small and mid-cap investment products.

Sean M. Healey is named President and Chief Executive Officer.

AMG establishes Managers Investment Group, a retail platform that creates, distributes and services mutual fund and separate account products through intermediaries.

AMG completes its investment in Genesis Asset Managers, a premier investment manager of emerging markets equity securities.

AMG reinforces its presence in value investing with its investment in Third Avenue Management, a renowned value equity manager.

2001
AMG completes its investment in Friess Associates, a leading growth equity investment management firm.

AMG completes its investment in Frontier Capital Management, a boutique investment firm specializing in growth and relative value equity investments.

AMG completes its investment in The Managers Funds LLC, which becomes part of the Managers platform in 2004.

AMG completes its Initial Public Offering, listing on the NYSE.

AMG expands its presence in the value investing category with its investment in Tweedy, Browne, a renowned value investment management firm, which at the time represented the Company’s largest Affiliate on an earnings basis. Tweedy continues to be one of AMG’s largest Affiliates.
