Investment Discipline
Skyline's investment team looks for small capitalization stocks that have below
average valuations with strong growth prospects. Through its intensive in-house
research, Skyline finds good companies that are overlooked or not widely
followed. Typically Skyline invests in firms with market capitalizations less
than $2 billion. Skyline believes that this value focus combined with
identifying attractive growth prospects can capture inefficiencies in the
market.
The Firm
Skyline Asset Management L.P., a registered investment adviser, is based in
Chicago, Illinois and manages Special Equities Portfolio, a pure no-load mutual
fund, and separately managed institutional accounts. Thie firm is lead by
an Executive Committee comprised of: Michael Maloney, Partner and
Portfolio Manager; Steve Kendall, Partner, Chief Administrative Officer and
Director of Marketing; and Bill Dutton, Partner and Senior Advisor.
